Egg Donor Requirements

Age
Egg donors need to be between the ages of 21 and 26
Blood Group and Gentotype
Egg donors can be of any blood group
but should have strictly AA gentoype.
Height
Egg donors should be at least 162 cm or 5 feet 3 inches
Chronic Diseases, STD’s and AIDS
Candidates should not have any
chronic diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure, nor
should they have STD’s or AIDS. These health requirements are
crucial to ensure the well-being of both the surrogate mother and
the child throughout the pregnancy journey.
Commitment and Availability
Egg donors must be able to commit
to and be available for regular hospital appointments over a
period of two weeks.
Medical Tests
Chest X-ray, conclusion that Egg Donor is healthy (absence of tuberculosis)
Conclusion from breast physician (ultrasound of breast)
Report from paediatrician that egg donor’s children are healthy
Reports from neurologist and psychologist
